Folks,

looking at the reticle here and the JNG MIL seems like a really good reticle that does not get much air play....everyone seems to go GAP, why is this ? I think for hunting on say a short barrled .308 the JNG MIL might be excellent and still give hold overs for when shooting longer distances. Rifle use would be say 600 yards maximum and mainly for hunting feral pig sized game.....I would have a crack with it at the 1k just to see if I can.

Is one better sticking with GAP ?

Does it substend to thickly ?

I thought MPR might be to busy for primarily a rifle that will be for shooting feral pigs etc.

To be honest the plain old mildot for "hunting" is pretty good its nice and open, gives a refernce point for holds if you need them if you really need to be precise you can dial.

Just thinking out loud.
