GAP Thunder Ranch #115

I bought as new used GAP Thunder Ranch model #115 308 and I’m debating on using it as a backup hunting rifle. I LOVE the thing and it flat ass SHOOTS! Probably more accurate than any of the hundreds of rifles I’ve ever hunted and/or competed with. However it’s a bit too heavy for my style of hunting minus the occasional blind sit. With scope it is 13.8lb. So do I keep it as a backup hunting rifle or send it down the road? If it wasn’t so damn sweet and shot like it does this wouldn’t be a problem. However I have too much invested in it to just let it sit.

I'll give you tree-fiddy and a "Semper Fi" for it as long as you include the scope and mount.

I have found in life that getting rid of sweet-shooting firearms is something that I quickly and often regret...

I wish my bolt gun weighed 13.8lbs… mines at least 5lbs heavier…

Send it to me for safe keeping. When you want it back you can have it back. I won’t even charge you to keep it running. I’ll prob take it out 2x a year.
