I've recently been stung by the lr bug. I consider myself to be more of a "hunter" but the science of long range shooting has begun to really fascinate me. Reloading equipment to maximize on the capabilities of my preferred .30-06 "hunting" cartridge and better gear have both become necessary. I am currently using a new Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather in .30-06 equipped with a Swaro Z6 1.7-10 scope and fortunately for myself it shoots better than .75moa out of the box. At 300yds+, my high powered binos just aren't cutting it anymore and I need a GOOD spotting scope. "Good" because I know that this is just the beginning and i want to buy "1" spotting scope. I've looked at Swaro's, Zeiss and Leicas and I'm not afraid to spend a few dollars. Any suggestions? Keep in mind that a TRG or AI are probably soon to follow. Thanks in advance
