Back story, the 40X that I was able to buy from a friend was not only the first 40x I'd ever shot (20 years ago), but also as far as I know, a real rare model that I had only ever seen in a magazine (once). Fast forward to tonight where I was allowed to purchase from the same friend the rarest Anschutz I'd ever seen and also one he swore he would take to the grave. He has been selling off some of his collection and I was the only one who spoke up asking to buy it though it was a rifle that was always considered "off limits".
Well here they are, I'm still over the moon that I was able to add these 2 to my own collection.

Very nice Super Match, I have never seen a special edition Super Match. Looked it up there’s one for sale in England for 1000 pounds, which for England is pretty good for a used Anschutz. From the picture it has been well cared for.Enjoy, It will be a great shooter. Congratulations!

NICE!! How you are taking advantage of your "friend" in his old age.

JUST KIDDING! I bet he is happy to have that stuff go to someone who cares.
