Anyone else have issues with this weather meter not reading the barometric pressure correctly? Mine is always .2 or more higher than what the local weather station reads or wont pick it up at all. If I use the local pressure, my data is fine, but use the one the meter reads and it's off. The problem is that I am not always in places where I can get a phone signal to get the correct local weather.

The local weather is giving me actual pressure, not adjusted pressure if that is what you are asking. This system does not use elevation in its calculation just actual air pressure, temp, and humidity to calculate a density altitude.

Your local weather stations report adjusted, or BAROMETRIC pressure, not actual, or STATION pressure. Weather reports are adjusted for altitude, temperature and humidity. Depending on your location and current temperature, there can be a very large difference between the two, or none at all. My home elevation is 4500', station pressure is 25.xx and baro pressure is 30.xx on average. Back in CA, I could have 29.9x and 29.9x for both on a cool day at 200'.

What I am trying to say is that both the local and meter pressure are both in Absolute or Station pressure, but they differ enough to throw off the software. For example, today the meter shows me a pressure of 28.55 (DA= 2599') while the local weather shows a pressure of 28.32 (DA=3123').

Not surprising. Unless you are standing in the same place it is going to be different. The weather station is reporting weather at their location. Your meter is reporting it at your location. If your data is off it's likely your MV, but I have zero experience with this device so it could be malfunctioning as well. This is why I use Kestrel. They are usually very accurate and when they aren't they can be repaired. Best of all no cell coverage required.
