Getting Notifications on posts I am not interested in, why?? HACK???

Not sure where to post this but I got 3 notifications on posts that supposedly I had subscribed to. Only problem, I was not even vaguely interested in the topics, nor had I subscribed to them..Is this a HACK????

Sure you haven't inadvertently subscribed to that whole section of the forum?

I at one time accidentally hit the subscribe all. Check that and see if it remedies your problem.

The same thing has been happening to me ever since the change back from the Scout site. I know others have had this issue too.

It's not a hack, everytime I have been contacted about this, it was operator error

You have to check your settings and look on the top right side of the forum section or post to see if you accidentally subscribed... the more likely answer is yes.

Everything is a hack now a days. People hack their breakfast, hack their wardrobe, etc.

I unchecked the box, it never bothered to subscribe me again.

Frank, you gotta start charging for customer service.

I unsubscribed everything, no further problems. Still not sure how I got subscribed to topics I never read about. I sounded alarm as a possible community service. Sorry if I was a bother, but as a senior citizen I was just being careful as computerese is not second nature to me.
