We own a 2000 Suburban that we purchased used in 2008. Put something like 230,000 more miles on her but she is getting just a touch long in the tooth and starting to show it. So, we finally broke down and purchased a new truck. GMC, double cab, put on running boards and a tonneau. Runs nice, cost was not prohibitive (Tried pricing a new Suburban; Ouch) does what we need it to do and is reliable.
Point. On My first real job after leaving the U. S. Army and graduating from college, my supervisor was a young lady named Kathy. A nice enough person to work for, tolerant, competent and overall a good supervisor. Remember the GMC mentioned above? One of the salesman who sold it to us was her nephew...and he had GREY HAIR.
Yes I remember Moses.
