been lookin at gettin me a rifle to build on alittle as i go. im wanting something that is as close to a tactical setup as i can get without breaking the bank... now, i have always been a remington man but there is nothing remington is producing that is where i wanna start "that i can see" maybe 700 tactical in 308, but i dont like the stock that much. i have seen the fn pbr and maybe the spr if the extra money is worth it. the thing i like about the pbr and spr is 300wsm which i all ready have dies for, well my dad does. the thing i dont like about the fn is dont know about gettin good action work done for the pre-64 and dont know what if anything can be done about the 300wsm bolt becuase wanting to build a 6.5x284. i really want something with more punch and faster than a 308, but if the bolt in 300 is gonna cuase me alot more trouble and money may just go with 308.... i will be greatful for any advise or maybe there is something im not lookin at....thanks guys
