This is what I have so far. The front is covered with canvas. I got it the same color as the base. I used almost all natural jute. I have brown and light OD green also. The last picture is what it looks like when it is pulled back. Not sure if it is too thick or not thick enough. I'm thinking it will make room for natrual veg. Any help would be appreciated.

So far so good. Could lay off the jute a bit, seems a little heavy but the mud will take a lot of it out.

Where did you get that tan/brown netting?

From what I understand, you'll want to trim the jute to about 6" long.

Yes, once you get it all broken in, trim down the jute. I usually just tye short jute anyway, but its easy to cut it down.

Is the netting "floating" around the pant leg, or is it sewn down at points so that it doesn't move too much.

It is sewn on around the outside and some spots in the middle

I want to build a nice ghillie, one with a low crawl purpose, Jute and camo net on back of BDU shirt and pants, with the BDU shirt arms camo'd, with the thighs, and knees of pants not messed with except for adding Canvas to the knees, but camo'd shins..
But I'm too lazy for it.
