I am embarking on my first ghillie suit build. Can any of you fine gentlemen give me a list of items I will need to begin my build? Or point me to a list that has already been put together?

Base (top and bottom), netting, jute, leather or canvas to go on the front and elbows/knees. Some have put extra padding in the knees and elbows. You can sew the netting to the bdu's or some use shoe goo to glue it then ties the jute to the netting. Then "wash" it.
Keep in mind that I'm no expert. First one I built I used old bdu's, netting from camo netting and burlap from sandbags. I was in Afghanistan so I had plenty of netting and extra bags. It served it's purpose but wasn't the best. Many ways to skin a cat.

The absolute most important item you will need ... Just ask any Pig or Hog that went to SS @ Camp Margarita is the OCEANSIDE HIGH SCHOOL tennis court net!
