Ghillie suit.

Re: Ghillie suit.

Good and Cheap rarely go hand in hand.

SierraWhiskey here makes probably one of the best ones around.

What you have there is a CHEAP ghillie. And it probably isn't a GOOD ghillie.

Re: Ghillie suit.

yep if you want cheap make your own.
if you want good you either need to make your own or fork a fair bit out.

the tactical concealment ones are good, about $250 for the suit and you'll end up spending another $100 tops on materials like hessian, scrim and old uniforms.

Re: Ghillie suit.

hunting? comp? cool factor?
good luck either way. i'd suggest make your own. we did that back in cadets for running round the bush scaring recruits, good times and theres something about making your own thats so fulfilling.

Re: Ghillie suit.

I got a ghillie poncho kit on e-bay I like a lot because it is not as hot after setting in it for 4 hours. The build time was about 100 hours of boring work. but the kit was about $40.00 shipped.

Re: Ghillie suit.

Mine is good and was pretty cheap.

Then again, it cost me a lot of manpower. Most of that was spent drinking, BS'ing and watching movies.

Uhhhhh....... no. Plenty of quality ghillie builders and DIY kits right here on the Hide. These various options are provided by contributing members, not trolls. There is no reason to ever have to resort to inferior, airsoft quality gear such as this.

Friends don't let friends buy cheap ghillies!

After putting a 100 hours into the project, It would have been much simpler to buy mine made.
But mine was exactly what I wanted & I could not buy that!
