She's at least 10 years my senior and I'd still

Sad that it took her so long to get in Rock Hall of Fame. Truly she was a pioneer for FEMALE ROCK performers. I guess still to be inducted in November; but shocked it took this long. A string of hits in the 80s solidified her position IMO. At her peak, really probably the most powerful female vocalist around other than Ann Wilson. And by all accounts, a better person than Ann Wilson too who seems to have gone a bit nutty the last 10 years.

Gilf - it’s not just the humor that’s dry.
My GLIF's systems are all still in working order. Perhaps you should up your game beyond a roofie in her drink.

We have been married for quite some time and she is actually a GGLIF.

But yeah Pat Benatar was definitely a hottie back in the day.

This was Raquel Welsh back in 2017 (76yo)

I would put Debbie Harry into that group also.

IMO Ms. Harry was definitely underrated as a rock singer. I thought she was great even though the band was a bit pop-ish.

Now this is a rock in roll voice for the ages....and a total maniac back in the day. And maybe still to this day..grandma with an attitude haha

I glad this thread has stayed classy. It is a shame that most of these rock pioneer women were late going into the RnR hall of fame, while some other douche bags were let right in. All of the women above could really sing. I wasn't a big Blondie fan because of the popishness of it, but DH could sing.

Pat Benatar's looks never did anything for me, but she is an incredible, opera trained singer. Her voice is unique and powerful. I can listen to their music, anytime and I've learned a few of Neil's guitar parts over the years. Pat's cool, in my book.
