Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock 20 conversion to 45acp possible ?

don't know if this is right section for this but is it possible to convert a g4 Glock 20 10mm
to 45acp ?

You'll have to purchase a complete top end as the breech face on the slide is too small for .45 cal. and the barrel port is too small for a .45 barrel to fit through. You can do it the other way around with a conversion barrel and extractor modification.

^+1 You can turn a .45 into a 10 but not the other way around. I have a few extra model 20's in the safe just waiting for the top slide to be replaced.

and the slide & barrel is 90% of the $ of the pistol correct ?
just sell it & buy a 45 sounds like best alternative

They use the same frame dif top end, be sure to match gen also, gen 1-2-3 all interchange the gen 4 do not, the slide recoil spring tab is much larger on gen 4 and won't fit in any of the previous frames.
