Been looking at plastic fantastic full size .45’s.

It’d get an optic out of the gate, all handloads, all powder coated cast bullets at upper end or +P loads (no bullseye, but no supers).

I’ve not shot any of the pistols in the title. I did shoot a Gen 5 20 10mm with a Holosun and was amazed how well I shot it out of the gate, so I figure a .45 in the same gun would be pretty similar.

No duty. Just a hunting backup/lease bumming gun.

Mostly curious about accuracy, ergos (wouldn’t mind a touch a
smaller grip than the Glock), trigger, and recoil. All three seem to have a pretty good rep as far as dependability (though I’d like to hear it if anyone begs to differ).

Any opinions?

I have or do own all 3 but in 9mm and have used them for IDPA and USPSA as well as concealed carry in the different sizes.

I shoot all 3 very well but have settled on the CZs due to them pointing very naturally for me and the trigger is pretty good out of the box.

If your wanting slimmer grip than the Glock the CZ will accomplish that, I personally like the thickness of the Glock and wish the CZ was a bit thicker.

My best advice is find a range you can rent them and try them out ( will likely be 9mm variants) or next best got handle them at the gun counter and see what points the most naturally for you.

I like the g21 myself. Poly rifling can be hard to get cast bullets to play nice supposedly, but mine have been ok.

I've shot plenty in mine and through conventional aftermarket barrels. Clean the poly barrel regularly and be keep eye on if you lead it up figuring loadings, and you'll have no issues. Practical accuracy on steel inside 50 yards is fine.

I will say a conventional rifled barrel shot better with cast for me in 2 different instances. Better meaning less picky with bullet and loading and better consistenOK.

Unless you're bullseye shooting or are too dumb to check for leading the g21 will play fine with cast.

The large frame glocks are... large lol. Unless you have gorilla hands it is notable. Can be fixed, but can be costly or time consuming
