Just ordered the Glock 23 for CCW. What are some good holsters for CCW? Who carries one or something similar in size,and whats your thoughts on the most comfortable ways to carry, high hip, inner waist band, small of the back?

Well, as I often say, my shoes will not fit your feet. So my carry options can vary vastly from what works for you.
A few follow up questions:
What is your frame size and build? Taller leaner guys seem to do better with IWB holsters than do more well rounded gents like myself.
I carry several glocks in Comp Tac padle holsters. Very comfortable, easy to put on and off and you can easily adjust the retention setting.
A good place to start is behind the strongside hip. I believe someone else called it the 4 oclock position. Practice your draw stroke from here and adjust accordingly. Make sure you also buy a way to carry an extra magazine and a flashlight and have night sights put on your G 23.
Holsters are like your wife's shoes, if you carry concealed long enough you will have some special purpose holsters, some old favorites and a bunch of others that sit in a box that are rarely used. In other words, don't feel bad if you buy a holster and it isn't all you thought it would be.

I carry mine in any of several types: Fobus paddle, Serpa (with options for both belt and paddle included) IWB by High Noon Holsters, and a belt slide of my own manufacture, of 10 oz. leaher. All serve well depending on the circumstances. Most frequent is IWB as it's rarely cold enough to cover a belt holster with a coat or jacket. I don't wear the Guaybera or other untucked shirt either though that is a common Florida option if you don't carry IWB.

Galco Summer comfort. It is really a knock off of a milt sparks. has held up well, even in the sweaty summer months.

I carry mine in a cheapie JBP holster inside the waistband on my hip. No issues with it, but I haven't tried the more expensive holsters.
