Just picked up a new Glock 43 and curious if I can turn the rear sight around so that it is just black in the sight picture. Looking for a temporary fix until I can decide on new sights. Anyone ever done this?
Let me help you decide, Dawson Precision. Absolutely the best sights for a Glock money can buy. I wouldn’t even try flipping that plastic sight, just replace them as soon as possible. I’m sure many on this forum will agree on the Dawsons being top notch.

Highly recommend them. They have several different options to choose from. Let me know what you decide on and how they workout for you. I just put there black on black sights on my 42, and 43. I have there sights on 5 of my 7 Glocks and their sights are standard on STI pistols.
No, never had flipped the sight 180. Why not just black out the Glock dots with a sharpie.
My G43 wearing Dawsons. I have them on a lot of pistols so sight pictures are consistent.
I guess I'm the odd guy out with a set of Ameriglo's. I do a lot of sight swaps at my shop. The plastic ones usually get ruined as soon as you remove them.

I just came across these for Sig P226. Looks good, but do you have issues with the front sight snagging on things/everything ? It really looks like it would....

Never, I use the snag free carry sights for my carry guns. With that said my 34, and 41 use the competition adjustable sight set with red fiber optic insert and I’ve never snagged those once. So far no issues ever with my Dawson sights.

I love Dawson sights on my glock 17 guns. They are all either used in daylight or with mounted lights. For a carry gun like the g43 I went with the 2 dot Ameriglow Hackathorn set with Tritium. So far they are nice.
