if you're having to clean the glock, you're doing it wrong. I used to sell the things and was told by glock not to clean them. They were really looking for destructive feedback.
I can't say we never cleaned them even though we shot lead through it...never an issue. We did clean from time to time by taking a knife and carving out the unburned powder crap from around the barrel hood and extractor. I think about every few thousand it got the barrel scrubbed.
if you're worried about fouling, change ammo. I really wouldn't be too concerned.
