Looking for some advice here before I screw something up. I have a Glock 26 gen3 which has been my carry gun for about 13 years. I'm upgrading the sights finally with Ameriglo Spartans. So far I have the rear sight installed. I'm looking at the front which I thought was a hex nut holding in the stock sight but it is not.

My question is what do I need to do to remove the stock sight.

Yes, I'm very new to working on my own stuff.

Thanks guys.

I ended up punching out the front sight, it went through with ease. Then I pressed in the new one and installed it with the hex screw. Checked the rear with depth gauge for center and will head to the range tomorrow to make sure it's lined up properly for zero.

Appreciate the help!
