I've got a gen 4, glock 34. I have stupid large ha face and use the large backstrap. I want to add a little weight to the grip and want to try a thug plug or the Seattle Plug, but it apparently they don't work with the backstraps. Has anyone managed to get one to work with a little dremel magic? I don't want to add a weighted magwell yet because I don't want to spend the extra $$ to swap base plates on my mags. Thanks for your time

Hey pepper - dunno what a gen 4 backstrap looks like but I do know the Seattle Slug is just brass (or used to be) so it seems like it would be easy enough to whittle down the plug enough to fit in the backstrap?

I called Taylor freelance and they said they are a few months away from one that's designed for the gen 4 with the backstrap. I'll probably pick one up when it comes out, I ordered the thug plug in the meantime. It looks like I might be able to make that work a little easier
