... depends on the face.$60 seems like a pretty cheap insurance against possibly getting your face split in two
You have to check but the common clear or light brown tape is .002.OK, If I'm reading steel head right, put a piece of tape on the backside of a cartridge and try closing the bolt, if the bolt does not close its a no/go correct?

Should a person installing a Bartlien pre fit bbl. in a Terminus Zeus action check it with a go/no gauge?
P.T.G. 6.5 Precision Rifle Cartridge (PRC) SAAMI Headspace Gaugeswhere can u find gauges for a 6.5prc?
thanks, i was having a hard time finding any in stock
I believe it's a "new" item, and they custom make them for you. Not sure what lead time is.thanks, i was having a hard time finding any in stock
looks like 6-8 weeks. I think i'll just send my barrel and action to a smith that has them in stockI believe it's a "new" item, and they custom make them for you. Not sure what lead time is.
You will be sorry if you order them from PTG. 6-8 weeks will turn into a year, then more. They will try to charge you a restocking fee for an item they claim to have not made yet. PTG sucks.
I would not order anything from PTG. Been there and done that with go/no-go gauges. I'd get em from MansonAre there any brands of go/no-go gauges that aren't good to go, or are they all good to go?
Had a similar experience with PTG, luckily not too costly for me. Had a friend who finally threatened small claims before he got a refund on an item they took his money for and never produced. If you find a third party that has PTG on the shelf and can buy from them, their products are good enough quality. I’d just rather hop on the phone and call Manson and get what I need with no worries.I would not order anything from PTG. Been there and done that with go/no-go gauges. I'd get em from Manson
My gauges were a little out of spec and caused me some trouble, beyond ordering them and then finding out weeks later they didn't have them, and then them finally arriving months later.Had a similar experience with PTG, luckily not too costly for me.
