Think I stumbled into a pretty good deal today. Was out and around on the motorcycle entertaining myself and stopped into my gun shop. On the rack was a Remington 700 in .308 with a 24" bb, pro x trigger, ken farrell base and HS stock. All for $895. I did what anyone would have done and put $300 to hold if for 30 days just in case I change my mind or find a better deal. Don't think I will do much better here in Hawaii though. Gonna do the good discount thru "active military" with Leupold for glass. Should make a pretty decent shooter to start doing some longer distance shooting.
