FWIW
I have been interested in a Thermal Viewer. I contacted several advertisers of these NV devices from this forum.
Some people like to touch a new device and play with it. Others like me like to read all the instructions first.
I contacted several NV advertisers here, and on the net. I requested a copy of the instruction sheet of the item I considered for purchase.
One provider said unavailable...legally not permitted.
One said that If I could follow a ballistics program, then the NV device would be no problem...note the numerous questions on the Ballistics Program Forum here...not always so easy.
A third referred me to the manufacturer who took all of my contact data...and I heard nothing.
A fourth indicated that he would look but was unsuccessful, but did send several videos of night hunting kills from himself and the internet.
Finally one company had the data to me in a PDF Quick Guide within 2 hours. I studied the printout, called the company, and negotiated a mutually satisfactory price.
the point is that customer service can make a sale...the seller never really knows who is serious, and the inquiry may be more serious than the judgment of the seller can imagine.
Service made the sale..oh, the successful seller was: Ultimate Night Vision...whom I thank for its patience, service, and price.
