Rifle Scopes Good starting point?

Just about to finish my rifle and it is time to start looking for some glass.Being new to the tactical scope's I am needing some recommendations.My goal is to learn to shot out to 800-1000 yrds.I am wanting ease of use and stay around $1,500-1,800.
I thought about these and let me know what you think and what you would recommend.NF 5.5-22 and the USO st-10.

Quite a bit of difference between the ST10 and NF 5.5-22. Mag, FFP vs SFP, etc.

You can shoot to 1000 with an ST10 but more power would make it easier.

Are you wanting FFP or SFP? Mil/Mil, Moa/Moa, Mil/Moa?

For ease of use if would be good to say with a Mil/Mil or Moa/Moa setup, I would recommend Mil/Mil.

Used Vortex Razor or go for a scope $1000 more or some of new scopes which are $1000 less. Or buy a Night Force F1 is you can live with less magnification.
