Got bored and duracoated stock and barreled action

Well I took most of the day off from work. The wife left town for the weekend and wanted to get a jump start on my "Man" projects for the weekend.

I decided to duracoat my new tacticool stock and ruger 10/22 barrled action, but before I textured it with JB Quik. I'm still waiting on my parts from KIDD to get here to finish it up. Luckily my automotive hobby tools transfer to some of the firearm stuff. I used a Iwata air bruh for the barreled action and a Sata Mini Jet to do the stock. Both are ultra flat OD

Looks good and I like the texturing. I have the tacticool for my cz varmint and really want to try texturing and new paint. Let's see some pics of everything put together.

How did the JB Quik do for texturing? The times I have messed with it it's really runny. Thanks

Worked really well you just have to move fast with it.

Soon. I'm waiting on the bipod, rings, and scope to come in. I will update as the rest is coated.

its typical dura coat.... holds up pretty well as long as you dont get it extremly hot. Here is a little durability test video done by someone else.
