Got my new Summit

Received my new Volquartsen Summit the other day. Have only fired a few rounds so I will shoot and clean before settling down for some groups but so far, it's a slick fun little gun.

Glad Volquartsen took over the summit. PWS for some reason abandoned it. Are you running a can with it?

I ordered one at the past SHOT Show and was told March... long about July I asked for and received a refund as I was told August... Still a slick rifle, great action, best of luck with it.

How would you guys say these rate with a slip fit barrel vs the one they make that I think screws in or fitted differently? Are they pretty close to the other bolt offerings like CZ or Annie repeaters? Afraid to get flamed for even bringing up Voodoo....

Thinking of either the summit or the stainless Volquartsen action as I have my dads old gun that’s VQ bolt and barrel and Kidd trigger in a stock Ruger receiver.
