Grandpas old dies

Inherited my grandfathers old dies. More sets than I can count.

There is a set of Redding dies in 223 that I have use for. Appears to be a fl sizer and seater.

One is marked 223 rem ST E8 and the other is marked 223 rem FL K8. I’m assuming the FL K8 is the full length sizer, but what is K8?

maybe just line serial number. Doesnt matter. FL is full length size. use that. See if the other one just Necks only or something

ST should be your seating die. Not sure what the letters and numbers are, have thought about contacting Redding myself to find out. Guessing manufacturing date, but I am pulling this out of thin air. (or my backside)

St is seater on mine as far as I can tell here!

I am going to guess it's a serial number. I see some fl dies and seaters on ebay with a letter number code after the FL or ST.

My redd8ng 223 fl bushing die says r9 after the fl.
