This was posted to Reddit and various Chinese social media sites on December 26, 2022, but many of these posts are now scrubbed except on Twitter. An urban explorer with a Beijing accent stumbles upon a long abandoned KMT underground military complex used in World War II in deep forest in North China. He finds childrens' clothing strewn all about and then one bunker containing vats where dozens of eviscerated childrens' corpses were found partially submerged in an acidic solution. Due to the prevalence of Dark Web organ trafficking rings operating in various parts of China whose main mode of operations is abducting children, harvesting their organs, and disposing of the remains, netizens quickly came to the realization that this bunker complex was being used by one of these criminal rings to hide the bodies of their victims after they were done extracting the organs. The bodies have been dumped in a very acidic chemical solution, but real life is not like Breaking Bad, and dissolving bodies in chemicals are much harder than most people would think. The bodies in this video are severely degraded in the vats but the evisceration made upon them, and their general structures are still visible.
SOME OF WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR ONE SO FAR.
From the Twitter feed and some people at the local Chinese supermarket who I talked to all throughout today and seen the Weibo threads before they were wiped:
* Illicit organ trafficking conducted via the Dark Web is the NUMBER ONE source of large scale criminal revenue in China.
* Every year in China, anywhere between 2,000 to 10,000 children disappear from kidnapping and abductions. Criminals would often lure unguarded children who had wandered away from their parents or guardians with candy and toys. Other groups would try to find out where school trips are taking place, then infiltrate the area, posing as teachers or staff members when the real guardians are distracted, and then shove them aboard waiting vehicles just outside of view. Many of these children are taken by organ trafficking rings.
* Many netizens have contacted local authorities when this thread surfaced, only to have them respond by wiping all posts and threads associated with this. Some threads on sites like Twitter remain untouched. Netizens are immediately suspicious and came to the conclusion that the local police may be already bribed by this group with huge sums of cash to act as security for them.
* The police of the county in question when confronted by the worried netizens acted annoyed and did not want to be bothered. Later on that week, censors on Weibo and elsewhere removed most of the posts documenting this find, although many reposts are constantly being made by other tech savvy netizens all over the country. Bribery of local police is the key way these abduction rings operate in brazen fashion. Police chiefs throughout the country routinely accept varying sums of cash from anybody wanting to curry favors from them, ranging from having the police turn a blind eye to any illicit activity or having them act as actual security and lookouts. It is well known by everybody in China that ANYTHING YOU WANT can be done for you by the local police chiefs and magistrates, as long as you have the amount of money to fork under the table.
