Man in brown brought me a surprise this morning.... Grayboe Renegade in multicam. I have to give props to Jeff and Ryan at Grayboe. Don't know if it was my computer or theirs but I couldn't order from the website. So I called and Ryan took my order over the phone, he spent a good deal of time both speaking with me and checking his stockroom to see if what I wanted was in stock. It was, and I received it 3 days later.

The stock is really finished out well, better than I expected. It is more rigid than what force I can physically apply to it. Also lighter than expected. Pillars were installed nicely as well. Now just waiting on PTG to get their ass in gear so I can put it all together. I second guessed my choice of color after I ordered but in hand it looks very nice and I'm glad I didn't change it. I might modify later, but not after I try it out as is. For those of you on the fence, this is a very good deal at their price point and I will be ordering from them again.

Your post is very timely. I was checking them out a little over a week ago. They look to be very well made. I understand the relationship between McMillan and Grayboe so it makes sense their stocks are of great quality. I may just have to order one up.

They're selling to distributors right now, that's why you couldn't buy online. Good to hear about your experience; I wouldn't expect anything less from a McMillan. I see a bright future ahead for Grayboe.

You can order straight from them or a distributer, whatever glitch happened is fixed now. Just go to their website. I see a good future as well. From my conversation with Ryan they sell as fast as they can produce, and now I can see why. Maybe they'll get to a point where they have more offerings soon.

I like mine, I've had it for awhile.

i threw on an adjustable butt plate spacer system from McMillan (the A5 system works pretty well with minor tuning) I'm going to add a couple flush cups.

they're really hard, and well made from what I can tell. A very nice step up from the m40 style bell and Carlson I was using.
