Wondering what some options are for a good green bore Sighters laser. Needs to be multi caliber.

Local shop did it (normal guy wasn’t there) I was off by feet a good foot at 50 yards.

I won’t be able to help you much on a bore sight laser brand, but I’m curious why you want a bore sighted in the first place. I’ve had pretty good luck with just pulling out the bolt and looking down the barrel. Key is a good sandbag and rest at least. Usually gets me on paper at 100. At least on paper at 50. My dad has a laser boresighter that goes in the muzzle and has plastic sleeves for different calibers, so I know they exist. I haven’t used it much to say it’s good or bad

why? skip the laser. look down bore. takes 5 minutes and is free.

I put a 6" black shoot n see on a large white piece of paper. Set up at 100 yards. Take the bolt out with the rifle resting on bags. Look through the barrel until the black target is centered. then adjust the scope until it is centered on the black circle. Take your cheekpiece off so you can see through the scope without touching the rifle. Once both are good, send a round down range. You should be within an inch or two.

Same,

Pull bolt and look down bore. When switching optics I’ll attach a laser, match to old scope, pull the old scope, install new scope, match to laser to bore sight

If you continue with the laser idea, they will get you on paper but my experience is that the distance the laser is "sighted" must be at least 50yds. Green still isn't visible in bright daylight so subdued light is best when sighting. My particular laser gets first shot impacts about 3" high with very close windage. They do work, but not up close. Main use is for semi-auto where boreline isn't easily viewed due to straight line stock design (AR style rifles/carbines). On bolt actions, as stated by others, pull the bolt and sight down the bore.

I've had mine for 15+ years and it is a LaserLyte multi caliber (arbor) kit that covers .22 to 12ga. I tried to search the internet and looks like it has been replaced by a new model. Biggest complaint is the battery has a short life (CR2)
