Green Mountain barrels in Ruger Precision Rimfire - experience?

I'm thinking about putting a GM bbl in a RPRR. I would like to know what accuracy others have experienced doing so? Good, bad or mediocre.

They shoot pretty good.

Those are 5-shot groups at 50 yards from my 10/22 with Eley Force.

A good shooting buddy put a Green Mountain barrel on his RPRR because he was unhappy with the accuracy of the rifle with the original barrel, and GM barrels perform very well on several 10/22's that I know of. My RPRR has the original factory Ruger barrel, as does another fellow shooting buddy's RPRR. Now all 3 guns are equally mediocre in the accuracy dept. Whatever the problem is with these guns it goes beyond just the barrel. How Ruger ever came to call these things "precision" escapes me. Wanna buy a used RPRR in excellent condition cheap? I know where you can get your choice of 3!

Exactly how I felt about mine to the point I sold it. And I’m a ruger fan. I desperately wanted this thing to be a shooter but it’s just not. I’ll stick with my 10/22’s and now Tikka’s.
