Hello Sniper's Hide!

Quick introduction about myself. Life long shooter, late twenties. I shot Olympic Air Rifle and Olympic 3P small bore in college. I have not shot either recently, but am on the way to getting back into both. Ive competed in Action 2 Gun matches as well as IDPA. I'm also interested in military surplus bolt actions. I'm a common sight at the range in my shooting coat shooting 3 position at 50, 100, and 200 yards.

Completely new to long(er) range shooting. Recently joined a 600 yard range and have purchased a Savage Model 12 LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor. No glass on it yet, but saving my pennies for a near future purchase. I chose the Savage based on the price point and the ease of barrel changes. I like to do as much work myself as I can. I have had good experience with Savage factory barrels and the Accutrigger.

My other scoped rifles ar a DMR style AR I built with a Leupold Mk4 ERT on top of it (4.5-14x50mm if I remember right), and a Savage Model 12 FCV in .223 I put together for my better half. . I am an avid and experienced reloader, and have ~a dozen or so cartridges I load for. Most of my shooting up to this point has maxed out at 200 yards, most of it iron sights at NRA High Power style targets.

Glad to be a member and hoping to learn all I can from the membership here!

Welcome. I use to live in Sheboygan. Was a member of a club there and could shoot out to about 200 yards. I don't miss the winters though. Best day of my life was the day I sold my snowblower.
