Who uses one of these suppressors on a rimfire? How does it compare to other popular options? At 4.75" in length, it is on the short side but, 1.375" OD gives it a lot of volume. I have mixed feelings on using a 'wipe' and wonder if the larger volume in this can increases FRP ("first round pop") or lowers the 'tone' or blow back? It is reasonably light being all aluminum construction which also means cleaning will be slightly more challenging.
My applications would primarily be on a S&W M&P Compact 22lr and a Tikka T1X rifle. I should note this isn't my only rimfire can and I own a heavy all stainless can, an old Warlock, and an early Tac Sol Ti can.
I'm really looking for something that will work better on my Tikka T1X than my current options. A better option for the pistol would be "an extra credit" bonus but, not a really significant factor in this purchase.
