Grippy cheekrest fabric/pad for AR stocks?

It's only March and it's already hot enough to sweat on my rifle. When I'm shooting prone, my cheekweld slips repeatedly on my Emods (and any plastic stock) requiring me to constantly be adjusting my cheekweld and holding my head up in a manner that really wears on me after a few hours. Anybody ever strapped some kinda cheep pad or layer of canvas/1000 denier fabric to their AR stock to give the cheekweld a bit more traction? Any of you tactical sewing machine jockeys wanna make something specifically to strap on an Emod? I'll send you one for fitment...

Plan B is get something like a Sotech Sniper skid plate and paracord it on..

Moleskin from the drug store. Used it for years on my A3.

Kick-eez,Midway for one stocks it. It's a recoil pad available as thin as 1/8" May be trimmed to fit easily with scissors,razor knife. Good grade of adhesive on the bottom side. I use them to keep my cheek from freezing to my Mccrees. About 8 bucks IIRC.

The Kick eaze sounds like a pretty inexpensive way to go.
I'll send you a PM on the stock pad I made last weekend for my TRG, if you want someting a little more elaborate.

This stuff works great. Bought some self-adhesive black moleskin/felt from an archery shop and it's been holding up well on different rifles. My AICS cheekpiece is already at bottom so I needed some material that's as thin as possible.

Actually I used the A-Grip 4x7 pads and cut them out for cheek piece. They also make grips for handguns.

They are perfect!!

I ended up switching to an ACE stock just because I liked the foam. The charging handle mucked up the moleskin on my A2 stock too easily.

Piece of leather attached with either contact cement, or double sided tape. If I need more height, I use a piece of sleeping mat under the leather for about a quarter inch of height. Durable, and very cheap. Easy to modify, replace, or throw out if I change my mind.
