That’s a flat top ergo grip I believe? It’ll fit an AR but not flush?

Yes, above is what it's called on the XLR Industries website.

From Ergo:

"The top has been made flat so it will fit onto chassis system stocks that take AR-15 type grips. Although this grip will fit on an AR-15 type rifle the back of the grip does not lay flush with the back of the receiver"

I put it on one of my AR's just to see. It doesn't look bad but the back of the grip sticks out about 1mm. See photo below.
