Rifle Scopes Gun/scope levels.......

Re: Gun/scope levels.......

I tried out a fairly inexpensive one (Midway USA???; don't remember). Anyhow, I didn't care for it and eventually went with the US Optics folding rail-mounted type. It's quite a bit more than $50.00, but I have been very satisfied with it.

Whatever type you decide to go with, make sure you can see it without having to lift your head off the rifle stock and break your cheek weld.

Re: Gun/scope levels.......

I've had B-square, U.S.Optics, and Darrell Hollands. All my rifles now carry the Hollands, they are offset - so no losing cheek weld for checking cant. And around a penny less then your budget :grin

Re: Gun/scope levels.......

I have a Vortex, and a Holland, but to be honest my favorite is the BSquare rail mounted one. Works fine just the same as the others, hot 3 on clearance on midway for about 7 bucks each... My rifles are not range queens and they get beat up on horses, 4 wheelers and what not, no problems with any of them so far.
