Afternoon, All -

We got a really good piece of news. FINALLY we got the marking variance back approved from the ATF. ARC is notified and has confirmed that they are working on burning receivers immediately.
I do not have an exact lead on when the receivers will arrive here from ARC but they said it's a top priority to get those on the way.
They have 80 receivers waiting that need the following steps:

Laser engraving
Nitride treatment
Assembly & QC
Shipment to us

The tentative lead for us to have receivers here for Hancock assembly is 3-4 weeks based on past conversations with Ted.

Rock Creek confirmed more blanks are shipping from their shop today and we have most of the other parts in hand except for stocks, those are being ordered now from KRG.

We will email folks for FFL and payment as soon as we have a hard ship date on receivers from ARC to us. If you're waiting for a Hancock please do everyone a favor and get your FFL paperwork organized so we aren't holding rifles waiting for folks to find an FFL.

Thanks!

Does this mean that regular Nucleus orders from ARC will get pushed back a few more weeks for their next batch? You guys definitely have first dibs, just trying to keep track of everything going on.

I'm not sure, that's a question for ARC but my SUSPICION is no.

The reason being that they made us 80 receivers that have been sitting on the side now for some months.
They started lasering them yesterday for us since we now have the marking variance to legally allow it.
The process is to laser, then nitride, then assemble and ship.
I would guess there's a couple days of push for other stuff just due to the laser and assembly time but it's not going to involve weeks of push because they already made the receivers for us.

I hope "all goes well" with the laser and all.
But if you have a oops or a blem.. I'd be interested just saying :D
I won't ever see a blem, it can't be sold legally.

I talked to Ted and he said the lasering work is done. The actions are headed to Nitride now. I should see the first ones sometime right about the 1st week of November.
