Bu far, one of the prettiest thing in Nature is a struttn gobbler in the Sunshine. As He turrns struttn, an unreal amount of colors come off His breast feathers. And the best critter I have hunted if hunted properly. Nice Pic!!
Beautiful bird!!! I'm right next door in VA and THIS SATURDAY IS THE DAY!!! Already have the birds that my father and I are after scoped out. We are ready to roll come Saturday morning!
I know! I got the WV DNR email yesterday. We live really close to WV and I was actually a WV resident for a little over 2 years. Just moved back home to VA last year. Best of luck on your season when it starts!
mmm turkey : club sandwiches , hot turkey and stuffing with gravy , weeks of left overs and cranberries , deep fried , basted , or grilled its all so dam tasty . yep that bird would make a fine meal thanks for all the yummy dreams .
Beautiful! I love turkey hunting but have not gone for the past 4 years do to losing hunting spots after my uncle passed. Going to try and get some spots for next season so that I can take my daughter. Hoping she gets her first bird and gets hooked!
Tomorrow is opening day for turkey in Indiana and this pic got me more amped to go out than I already was. I’m excited about this pandemic because I pretty much plan on hunting every day of it.
It opened yesterday here in WV, unfortunately, the river that bisects my farm is completely flooded and i cannot access my hunting area :-(
