    On second thought-

    Rather than pollute the MPT with Hanoi Jane/Jane Fonda commentary- please direct your comments here. For a quick recap- we were talking about the below urinal stickers being on all of the VFW urinals that I've encountered and why her actions warranted it with the Vietnam Vets...

    It was then mentioned that her actions were worth the decades of anger and that when she passes, dollars to doughnuts says she'll be cremated and ashes spread out along the CA coast because the remaining Vietnam Vets will line up to piss on her grave otherwise.

    It may be worthwhile to explain what caused this hate and I'm sure we'll have some Vietnam Vets come along to fill in the gaps but she (1) made a public scene to sympathize with the NVA (2) if I remember right was shown all of the 'awful' destruction of the American bombs which later turned out to be the handiwork of the NVA and a propaganda tool and (3) absolutely sold out our POW's by turning in their notes to the NVA and laughed about it as she hopped on her private jet.

    Did I miss anything?

    From the 1970's until the Clinton years, just about every USAF base had the urinals adorned with her likeness in the form of the aforementioned morale boosting, motivational self-adhesive and long lasting target.

    After the Arkansas, coke-sniffing draft dodger took office, the urinal targets disappeared.

    We need a new one with another face like the Pelosi Pee Patch or a Biden-Drop-Turd-Here marker.

    I don't disagree with you- but did I miss anything in my synopsis of why the stickers became a thing in the first place?

    Absolutely not. Unfortunately, there are a couple generations of people now that don't know what she did. Even worse these people could care less.

    I met a lot of POWs from WWII and Vietnam. Never got the chance to meet any POWs from the Korean war.

    Anyway, most of the Vietnam era POWs had a lot of very visible disabilities. They were crippled beyond belief. Just listening to their stories of how they were tortured was painful.

    Call me sick but I would like to see the communist cunt experience the same torture that the POWs experienced on a daily basis. She needs a sock full of shit shoved in her mouth while experiencing the "Vietnamese rope trick" so she can't scream. Leave her like that for several hours then put her in a cell where she can only stand without food or water then start over.

    I must sadly agree with those who believe Fonda will be cremated and scattered so to keep these fine soldiers from "achieving the mission." Both her father Henry and her brother Peter did the same thing, per "Find A Grave."

    Is that comment directed towards me? If so- then it's a tiresome remark here and frankly you should do a little bit of soul searching when you use the USMC moniker as your identity and decide to shit on a thread speaking up for said brothers in arms. We live in a world where a significant portion of the population don't even know who Jane Fonda is let alone what she did and why people are still angry about it 60 years later.

    If it isn't directed towards me... then do you happen to have any good brisket recipes to share?

    Like I said, you need to do some soul searching. Almost 20 years later, I still remember the very same moment I was awarded my sabers, if you truly are a Marine- dollars to doughnuts you weren't in combat arms because if you were- you'd be embarrassed for yourself. If you are a real Marine (and spare me the "every Marine is a rifleman" bullshit) you should have a similar recollection of being handed the globe & anchor and being called a Marine instead of a recruit.

    Assuming that's all on the level- between earning the title of 'Marine' and whatever you are today- you clearly forgot something that the Corps tried to instill in you during boot. That's a "you" thing and if you think I'm wrong- well drive your candy-ass to the closest recruiting station and hand over your globe and anchor because you clearly forgot what it meant and represented somewhere down the line.
