Holidays came early this year.

Match style preban 223 Wylde 20" white oak armament that I picked up on Black Friday for a song.

I have a mars-L lower and some spare parts that would look pretty 69 shades of fde.

Or I could take my 16 inch Larue barrel out of my current PRS setup and install this one.

What say the hide?

Congrats, I'm picking mine up tomorrow, I hope.

I dont know much about Hanukah but being its the season I'll say

'Mary Kissmyass' ;)

Above we have a 20" Larue stealth barrel and upper receiver, adjustable rifle length gas block, forward controls rail, radian charging handle and geissele BCG. Getting a Leopold 5 scope. Built for a friend for Xmas (he paid for parts).

Below we have a 20" white oak armament barrel, aero upper, KAK rifle length gas block, the geissele rail that was supposed to be on the other one but didn't fit the Larue stealth upper, and a shitty tango msr 1-10x scope. Basically a spare parts wonder with an excellent barrel!

As soon as I have sort of recovered from this holiday season I'll put a real piece of glass on it.

I'm interested to see how the Larue and the white oak perform right next to each other.

Happy holidays!

Now where the duck is my gabbagool?!

Plus a B5 sopmod in fde with a bag rider. Green buffer tube. Either a Larue MBT 2 trigger or American trigger gold.

I think I'm just gonna go simple with a KAK compensator.

Ended up using my American defense lower from my short build.

Just for T&E. Everything was going great. Got her sighted in... Then the little piece of picatiny that was holding my bipod broke.

*Sigh*

Wouldnt you know it.. soon as I got her sighted in and started to attempt some groups - the damn piece of picatiny bent and detached.

It's not like I was even loading up my bipod that much.

So much for small cheap Amazon pieces.

All zero'd, got some fgmm, ready to roll Thursday for some real groups. Replaced chinesium rail with a bigger one and remounted the atlas bipod.

Still waiting on:

- Cronus BTR Gen 2 optic
- Badger 34mm 1.5 optic
- fde b5 sopmod + bag rider + cheek riser
- Larue a-peg grip

Best group so far when zeroing.

WOA barrel doing work!

Finally had a chance to heat up the barrel today. This white oak can really do the damn thing.

I ran my first 200 rounds through her and despite the big winds we had today she did some solid work.

I'm still working on my shooting skills but the barrel is doing it's job.

Shooting 1/8th inch bull / 4 inch circles at 100 yards

Just trying to do my part!

Well, my new scope from an excellent member here + a really nice mount from euro optic and I think I have my mid range rifle pretty much dialed in.

Thanks for taking this ride with me everyone that has been reading this thread. Double thanks for everyone that offered suggestions and help.

Full setup is running amazing. I'm slowly learning to do my part.

Mostly between .5 and .8

This one has some hits to the side from when I was zeroing it.

I think this rifle is pretty done and now it's just time to shoot it!

Decided to switch to a different safety arm, using this chunky one gives me kind of a thumb rest.

The old one was good for quick safety manipulation - but that's not really the game with PRS.

Cleaned up the bore, should be interesting shooting tomorrow in sub zero temps with snow on the ground. Def bringing my mallet to pound stakes in for the target holder.

Keep warm!
