I just recently got a Blackside .45 with the recoil booster for my Glock 21. Great can but I wish it had better performance dry. It's a little bit louder than the Knights can dry but a little bit quieter than it wet. I've been looking into purchasing another .45 suppressor but the one I was looking at is hard to find. It was the AAC Black Box, which was advertised as hearing safe dry. Although you can still get them for over a grand, they stopped making them.

A) Does anyone know why they stopped production on the AAC Black Box?

B) Has anyone heard anything about the new AAC Ti-Rant .45, which now has the basic advertisement pitches as the Black Box?

C) Has anyone seen or heard anything whatsoever about the new Silencerco Osprey .45? Although you can get pics and a crap youtube video (too much background shooting), the price and sound attenuation info is not available.

Thanks for your replies.

Re: Has anybody heard anything these cans?

Blackbox is not being produced at the moment. It has been replaced with the TiRant. the Osprey is fairly quiet and if you call Polite Society Inc and talk with Mark, he will be able to give you more info on it ... or email him at mark(remove this)@polietsocietyinc.com they had the first 2 Osprey's at the Silencer shoot the other week on display and on 1911's as well.

Re: Has anybody heard anything these cans?

silencerresearch.com is supposed to be doing a shoot with numbers for the Osprey and the Ti-Rant data and video is already up. I'm eyeing the Osprey for my USP45CT. Silencerco is also very good about getting back to you and helping with your questions.
