Has anyone tried the new Jard 3 lever trigger for Savage?

I'm looking to replace my worn out Savage accutrigger. Looks like Jard's older offering consists of a trigger and a sear of their own design. Now they show a new 3 lever offering for Savage rifles. Anybody know of any pros or cons?

How many shots does it take to wear out a savage trigger?

Just recently, I've noticed a few sear drops on hard bolt closing. The accutrigger blade functioned as intended by catching the sear and preventing a slam fire. The rifle is a 10fp with the trigger set to 1.5 pounds pull. Upon disassembly and inspection of the trigger, the top of the sear catch shelf has rounded off from wear. I'm on my second barrel, so I imagine about 6000 rounds so far. Savage factory trigger replacement parts aren't available to us average Joes, so I'm considering alternatives.

Call customer service and ask if they will ship you parts if you sign a waiver. I bought two 12fv specials from Cabela's a few years ago that had shit triggers. I signed the waiver and they sent the trigger and safety parts to replace the accutrigger and reset the safety. It saved me from having to send the gun in on warranty to be fixed. Also, they did not want to send me a striker spring. After explaining to them how to set firing pin protrusion and pin fall distance they sent me a waiver and sent me the parts. Not sure if they will still do this, bit it is worth a shot.

I know this is the bolt action section, but I just recently put my second jard in an ar-15. After talking to them with great communication I will never run anything else.

I would also like to know.

I wish they would advertise a little. I didn't have any idea anyone made a full replacement 597 trigger.

And I have an old 112 that needs a trigger. That 16oz looks perfect for a bull barreled varmint rig.

I believe I have enough time on mine to offer an opinion. I ordered their 1lb option and bought their 3/4lb spring for $5.50 extra. I ended up putting the 3/4lb spring in to get a final pull weight of 14 oz. I did have to snug up the overtravel screw from the as shipped position. I can slam the bolt as hard as I can without tripping it, so its definitely safe at this pull weight. The shoe radius is rather generous, which isn’t too far away from a straight profile.

While its no Triggertech break, the pull weight is repeatable and safe when running the bolt hard. I had no problem holding my usual 1/4 MOA on target. For those that can’t stand the accutrigger safety blade, this Jard trigger is a worthy replacement.

I'm running the JARD savage centerfire trigher 7-12 oz in mine. I have worked the bolt in a manor trying to create a slam fire without success.

My Accutrigger was very inconsistent running it below 20oz. It would trip the sear and catch the blade (like its supposed too) if it wasn't pulled perfectly strait.
It's a great improvement over the Accutrigger.

^^ That's good to know. Difficult to adjust to that safety level?
I Installed it rite out of the box, no adjustments needed on mine. Although I havent put a scale on it, it breaks well below a pound.

As posted earlier it's not a triggertec but it's a great Improvement over the accutrigger, and I wouldn't be hesitant to buy another.

Well, I got mine. “Ain’t no Triggertech”....it is not that brand, but I like the pull quality about the same as my AR Triggertech. Maybe mine is a unicorn!

Mine is set a 12oz with minimal overtravel. I like it. I really want it at 1lb, I think, but when I get it back from my smith, I will really dial it in and decide what is a safe weight.
