A 6.5"-27" bipod seems like a great adjustment range. Wondering how stable they are?

attempt to revive this thread. Some time has passed since this came out, has anyone got any real world experience with this setup. Looks like it would work for hunting in the hills and grass pretty decent.

I have the tall model that I use on my calling rifles. It isn't quick deploy, but it does everything and more than the Harris bipod. And it's tall enough to use on steep hill sides.
