Nice looking reticle. Are the scopes available forsale?

Looks like Bushnell is open to doing some custom reticle work on their HDMR's. What's the setup charge and minimum quantity?

Re: HDMR Bushnell Military, GAP G2 Reticle

Stadia is nice and thick except for the center 1/2 Mil. Quarters up pasters real well

Outside bars are 1/10th mill ticks with 1 mill markers, the ultimate in mill ranging , makes a nice solid looking Duplex for low power short range shooting.

I dont think thats the case, We just gave them a hand with this reticle design. Its going to be available fall (September/October) timeframe. We will have a stock of them and will offer a SH group buy to start this scope/reticle out on a high note.

Re: HDMR Bushnell Military, GAP G2 Reticle

Guys Bushnell (formerly Baush and Laumb) Made the very first Real Military Grade 30mm Sniper scope, the 10x Military, the US Navy Seals still use them today. Bushnell has just decided to go back and reclaim what they started in the early 80's

They have Hired the right team and are working with the right people to get this done. Dont compare this to their less expensive hunting line the scope is made at a totally different facility and is a totally different animal.

I'll keep my eye out for this announcement.

The HDMR scopes are already on the market. They are $1350 retail. </div></div>

Soooo....possible PST price range with SH group buy????

Re: HDMR Bushnell Military, GAP G2 Reticle

This is relevant to my interests, particularly with the 10mil turrets and the fact that I missed the SS5-20x50HD buy. Gonna be a tough choice...

Re: HDMR Bushnell Military, GAP G2 Reticle

this is exactly why i didn't go crazy on the ss5-20 not that its a bad scope it for sure it nice on paper ( haven't seen one), but bshnell has had some great designs lately and is also really listening to the market. this optic is also 34mm which gives great fov. will it replace my schmidt no but they will probably replace my other scopes.

nice work george!!!

Re: HDMR Bushnell Military, GAP G2 Reticle

Looks good George. Excellent reticle design. Can't wait to see one in person.

George, bring one of those along when you come out in November. Looks great! It looks compact and well designed.

Re: HDMR Bushnell Military, GAP G2 Reticle

The one that is on my rifle is the same one that a well known high end optics retailer was looking through after a match last year when he commented that the only thing better that he'd looked through that was better was the Hensoldt class of scopes.

Like George said this isn't your dad's Bushnell Banner.

don't have exact oz's but 2lbs is a good start +/-

It's a tank but I love mine.

Re: HDMR Bushnell Military, GAP G2 Reticle

Great work on the reticle. I checked out at Horus reticled version of this scope at Mammoth, it was impressive. I wouldnt have been a buyer with the Horus reticle, but Id definately go for one with this reticle.

Thats with the Horus ret, gonna guess this will be about 400.00 less than the Horus version.

We being Tom from Military Products of Bushnell and Jeff Redding the Riflescope products manager at Bushnell and myself all sat down and brainstormed this reticle. Drawn on scratch paper with notes. Jeff put it to a drawing and sent it to me where I made further tweaks and involved some of my shooting buddies giving there input. 3 revisions were made and this being the final product. Bushnell deserves most of the credit for actully taking the input from shooters and comming up with somthing that will really work well.
