I’ve been playing around with my rifle setup and I’m having difficulty with getting square behind the rifle. When I have my head straight my jaw is pressing against the stock and I am off to the side of the scope. To get a good sight picture I need to crane my neck over. I’ve tried adjusting the xlr tactical stock but I can’t get a good position. Am I missing something or do I need a narrower stock to fit my wide jaw behind my rifle?

I had the exact same problem with my new XLR. I found that the cheek rest was too wide for my face. I solved the problem by squeezing the cheek rest in a padded jaw vise. I narrowed the rest from 2" down to 1.5". This allowed me to get perfectly lined up behind my scope.

Thanks for the response. I tried taking the whole cheek riser off and I’m still pressed against the clamp on the buffer tube. I’m thinking I just need a narrower stock.
