Note overnight we had some suspicious activity we are working on so be careful when engaging with new accounts or recently dormant accounts

Please do your homework and don't assume anything right now, once we look deeper into the system I will give an all clear, but we noticed some changes that I want you to be aware of ...

Remember,

Trust but verify

There are no deals on here, NONE, if you can't believe your luck, you already lost

Ask for verification before sending payment

Do not send payment to someone not part of transaction

If you get an immediate, Send payment here to my friend, scammer, report them

Don't report if you are not sure, it floods the system, and please provide proof as scammers are reporting people. If you report a legit account I will ban you as scammers are reporting real accounts too.

We are adjusting behind the scenes and investigating everything but it takes a minute as we don't want to just ban everything

Understand this is two fold, one to scam you out of money, two to harm the site and take it offline, the better we act, the easier to ID these scumbags

and double check you are actually talking to the right person when buying in the PX and not a spoofed account, look at the post count it's the easiest indicator to see

I still don’t understand why people keep posting I’ll take it. I get way back it was first who posted I’ll take it wins. But with scammers rampant you would think sending a PM even with questions would be easier and safer.

I've seen that but when I checked the feedback it was other fishy accounts that had the scammer as their pos feedback. It's easy to create multiple accounts.

I just posted interested in an item for sale and minutes later a different user with same profile picture messages me asking for payment. Thankfully I noticed the different user. I called him out and he claimed it was a backup account. He then edited the entire message thread and closed replies and changed his profile picture back. I reported it but wasn’t able to post proof. Listing proof here so I don’t get axed. Cramey74 is the scammer or poor guy and his account hacked bc he had decent comment history and over 900+ comments. The real seller with the sales posting of the railchanger is user Innawoods86.

They also tend to be greedy to the point that they let their guard down and let themselves chase ghosts if the other end decides to fuck with them. They are extremely lucky that our current world is not yet operating in the Star Citizen style privateer and bounty hunting culture. Otherwise it'd be too easy to lure them to some place convenient, and permanently neutralize.

Seeing fuckbags like these targeting the GUN world out of all places feels like a Diddy level violation...

Yes, they hack accounts impersonating the individuals account. I was dooped yesterday. The jacked account was HaysKSFirefighter, had posative feedback and I could see all his previous transactions. Hacker was harassing me for my email address in my DMs saying he would refund my money while sending pornographic material. He also gave me a bad feedback. A real asshole .
I hope an Admin can fix my feedback .
Stay vigilant.

I can also confirm I was just scammed by this little fucking lowlife, HaysKSFirefighter, for $315 two days ago. Swear to god if I could get in a room with this guy just for 2 minutes. Exact same M.O. as with rwk junior, once he got my money he deleted the for sale thread, which honestly should not even be an option. We are both reporting him but it doesn't seem to be doing any good. Lowlight, can you please help us out before he claims another victim? Thanks

We appreciate the work you and the others are putting in, and thanks for the response, but specifically the guy who scammed us was still messaging me up until yesterday, so without having any idea whether the reports were received, reviewed, and action was taken accordingly, we would still report it not knowing otherwise.
