Greetings from the Flint Hills of Kansas. I have had a ardent interest in shooting / reloading for over 40 years. My wife and I have been competition shooters mostly with pistols , but also in Service Rifle and 3-G during the last 22 years. We enjoy shooting our rifles long range in the beautiful Flint Hills as well as hunting. I hope to learn more about PRS and hopefully also contribute a few things I have learned over the years. I also have a great affection for the 6.5x55 SE , 6.5 CM , and .308 in both bolt guns as well as semi auto platforms. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of this forum.

Thanks ! I had been dropping in a few time as a guest and decided that there was a lot of knowledge and good information here,so I finally joined. This forum was mentioned numerous times on other forums I'm a member of so I thought I needed to give it a closer look.
I'm glad I did.
Check out Spearpoint Ranch, Conway Lead Distributors, Twin Peaks Rifle Club, Ringneck Ranch, and the new Great Plains Precision Rifle Range for local PRS matches. They all have events posted on Facebook.
I have met the owners of Spearpoint,good people. My gunsmith buddy from Salina shot there. In fact,the bolt gun pictured in my first post was actually a rifle he made for himself then we worked out a trade. He's no longer in business due to the fact of needing to provide health insurance for his family he took a job as a machinist .
I don't do Facebook,but my wife does. It might be a while before I think about getting too involved in the competition aspect of PRS. My wife and I have been shooting GSSF pistol matches for the past 22 years in Kansas,Nebraska,Missouri and Oklahoma.It only took one match to "hook" us,so I'm almost afraid of what might happen,should we shoot a PRS match
