G'day all,
Though i would finally introduce myself, been a lurker on here for a while, and decided i would start to become a little more active.
Currently living the the NT, Aus, loving it, great lifestyle. However being 'new' i havent been able to make the contacts necessary for hunting in the top end. hopefully one day.
Only got right into shooting a year ago, shooting f-class at a local range and wherever i can find a hunt to go on, however I grew up on a property where spotlighting for foxes and rabbits were the norm.
Currently I own an AIA M10 B2 match rifle in 7.62x51mm and a custom built rifle on a pierce action in an AICS chassis in .308 .
I'm not a brilliant shot, i am learning, and continuously trying to improve my skills.
There is huge learning curve between, shotgunnin rabbits and foxes, to the cool and calm of f-class.
This forum seems to have a huge wealth of knowledge, and i only hope to learn as much as i can, and hopefully one day return the favour with some of my own knowledge.
A little taste of my two;
I have not found any threads on the AIA, other than the "Where are they?/who knows about them?"
Im hoping to do a comprehensive thread on these rifles shortly, as they are quality rifles. better than any everyday 'factory' built rifles i have handled.
And if anyone has any questions on these, dont hesitate on asking.
Cheers
7heNut
and ps; if anyone is in the NT and needs someone to go pig shooting...i want to come to! haha
