Hi Everyone ...Greetings from Rochester NY.
I have extensive handgun experience but am new to long range shooting.
I'm still putting my kit together, so far this is my setup - Remington 700 Milspec 5r .308 24"brl. , HS Precision PST-25 stock, Badger rings and 20moa base, Vortex Viper PST 6x24-50 FFP MIL.
I'm looking for ammo now and having trouble finding match grade ammo locally ( not reloading yet)
I look forward to learning more from people on this site and would be interested in meets to go shooting.
Any advice for newbies is appreciated.

Yes, welcome to SH, but I'll be short as it's late. Maybe we can catch up and talk some reloading some day. Where I could give you a hand with some reloads. Else I can direct you to some local shops for ammo if needed. Then I'm sure you know them too, but personally.... Reloading is what I prefer for my 308s
