Hello everyone,
New to the site, but not new to shooting. Been mostly deer hunting and short (100 yard) bench shooting for about 20 years.
100% self taught through the internet and shooting text books. I began reloading last year and can now shoot on my best days 0.3-0.5" groups at 100 yards and 1-1.35" groups at 300. I recently stepped my game up to 1,000 yards with my stock Browning 7mm Rem Mag and Sawarovski 12x scope.
I'm currently piecing together a Wby 338-378 Mark V with a Je Custom brake, a NF 3.5-15X50 MOAR and Near Alphamount.
I plan to build my Savage 10 FLCP-k into the perfect 1,000 yd gun. First plans are a new stock. (I broke the Accumark) I'm thinking Mcree or XLR Element. Leaning towards the XLR. Open to opinions/suggestions. And next plan will be a new bolt handle, leaning toward the Glades Armory.
Just saying hello and glad I found this site because it has already provided me with a ton of information which has given me many answers and ideas on how and where to find quality parts.
