Whats going on everyone. My names Rob and I'm currently living in New Mexico where I'm serving with the military (Active Duty). I'm originally from the north east (GREAT STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA!) and I've grown up around firearms/hunting since I was young. I do enjoy bow hunting but recently I've been trying to get into long range shooting and got a great deal on a R700 AAC-SD in .308Win. 16in barrel. I've taken her out to the range a few times now (haven't killed anything yet....working on that....) and have found it loves to eat 168gr type ammo (shot sub MOA at 100yrds with 168gr PMC HPBT). Def the tightest group I've ever shot with a Large Cal. rifle and was very pleased with its performance thus far. 16in Barrel, I forget what brand scope rings I have on it but they were around $80.00 and sit the standard (from my knowledge thus far) 1.5in off barrel from objective center of scope. I'm running a simple duplex 3x9x40mm Leopold which will be decent for hunting but I'll be upgrading eventually down the road (been looking at the Vortex Vipers). I'm going to be getting into hand loading soon and I'm very happy I've found my projectile weight to say the least. Look forward to checking out posts from others on here and posting some of my own.
